Kristin Lee Landon

Kristin L. Landon, age 50, of Rochester, MN peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Rochester Methodist Hospital after a brave, but short battle with pancreatic cancer. Kristin Lee Landon was born June 11, 1969 in Rochester, MN to Gary and Carol (Moran) Landon. She graduated from John Marshall High School in 1987. In June of 1991 she married Brad Akerson, they later divorced. She was employed by Essence Property Management based out of St. Cloud, MN. She enjoyed shopping, movies, her dog Otis, and was very fond of her grandson, Greyson. Kristin is survived by her parents, Gary and Carol Landon of Rochester, MN; five children, Zach Landon of Rochester, MN, Tyler Landon of Rochester, MN, Cody Akerson of Grand Forks, ND, Blaine Akerson of Rochester, MN and Jesse Akerson of Rochester, MN; one grandson, Greyson; and her siblings, Debbie Landon, Terri Landon Farrell and Steve (Colleen) Landon all of Rochester, MN. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; and a brother-in-law, Joseph Farrell. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes (5421 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN 55901). Visitation will take place from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
