Kim Vern Louks

Kim Vern Louks age 58 of Rochester passed away October 4, 2012 at his residence. Born August 11, 1954 in Rochester to Kenneth & Lorelei (Sobek) Louks. He was proud to serve his country in the Marine Corps. He enjoyed rock collecting, riding motorcycle, deer hunting and hanging out with his dog. Kim leaves behind his daughter: Summer Laqua of Rochester, his fiance' Katherine Schrautemyer of Princeton, his mother: Lorelei Louks of Duluth, and 4 sisters: Julie Louks, Shelly Louks, and Christine Fiegel all of Duluth, and Patty Louks of Barnes, WI; and 2 brothers: Kenneth Louks Jr. of Finlayson, MN and Gary Louks of Wonewoc, WI. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother John. A visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes.Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes Chapel.
