Keo Douangdy

ST. CHARLES, MINN:Keo Douangdy, 79, died Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN. Keo Douangdy was born April 2, 1934 in Pakxe, Laos. He worked at North Star Foods for eighteen years and retired in 1999. He enjoyed family time, fishing, home improvement projects, playing cards and dice. He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. Keo is survived by his wife Samly Douangdy, St. Charles, MN; his children, Khaysy (Chanty Namnakhone) Douangdy Rochester, MN, Bounthavy Douangdy, St. Charles, MN, Jake (Angela) Douangdy, Rochester, MN, Kong (Annie) Douangdy, Rochester, MN, and Kope (Vannak Phang) Douangdy, Rochester, MN; twenty grandchildren and one great grandchild; also survived by Lynne McKee Douangdy, LaCrosse, WI and his sister Nang Douangdy, Laos. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one infant daughter. A Funeral Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2013. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
