ROCHESTER -Kent Thomas Foley, 31, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester from complications due to DuChenne Muscular Dystrophy. Kent was born April 24, 1982 in Rochester, MN to Steve and Cheryl (McManamy) Foley. Kent enjoyed spending time with his family, playing board games, computer games with his friends, and watching sports especially the Vikings with his brother Tom.His biggest joys were spending time with his nieces and nephews and sharing a banana with his constant companion, his yellow lab, Angel.He was a 2001 graduate of Century High School and graduated with a degree in business from RCTC. Kent is survived by his parents, Steve and Cheryl, of Rochester; siblings, Kyle (Michelle) Foley, of Phoenix, AZ, Ellyn (Andy) Mulholland, of Rochester, and Tom Foley, of Rochester; nieces, Cheryl Jean and Clementine; nephews, Noah and Grant;grandmothers, Marilyn McManamy, of Gays Mills, WI and Phyllis Foley, of Eastman, WI; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Kent is preceded in death by grandfathers, Gene McManamy and Pat Foley; an uncle, David Foley; and a first cousin, Todd Bell. A Funeral Service will be held at NOON on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Pax Christi Catholic Church, 4135 18th Avenue NW, with Fr. Joe Fogal officiating.Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at church. Kent touched the lives of many people.You are forever with the angels and always in our hearts.
