Kenneth Milton Vesey, 71, of Rochester, passed away unexpectedly, July 15, 2014 at his home. Ken was born April 18, 1943 in Wykoff to Milton David and Hazel Fern (Shaw) Vesey. On July 31, 1965 in Rochester, Ken married Rosemary Schneiter. He worked at the pipeline for many years before retiring. Ken was a veteran and proudly served his country as part of the U. S. Air Force. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, playing cards and Bingo. Ken loved helping others but above all, Ken loved spending time and making memories with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Rosie; sons, Bradley and Brian (Jessica) Vesey; grandchildren, Richard Fenton, Nicole Vesey, Justine Schnobrich, Mercedes Vesey and great-granddaughter, Kylie Fenton. Ken is also survived by his mother, Hazel; sisters, Joyce (Larry) Park, Betty Holets, Ruth (Bill) Copeman and brothers, Everett (Dixie) Vesey and Mike Vesey. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Milton David Vesey. A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW., Rochester. Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00 PM Friday, July 18, 2014 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Fillmore Cemetery in Fillmore, MN.
