Kenneth Leo Paulson

MANTORVILLE -Kenneth Ken L. Paulson, 69, died on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Sunrise Cottages in Rochester. Ken was born in Kasson, MN on July 23, 1943 to Louis and Martha (Wilke) Paulson.He married Linda Cutshall on November 2, 1968 in Rochester.Ken farmed all of his life.He served on the St. John's Lutheran Church Council Board, Kasson-Mantorville School Board, and Dodge County Zoning Board.Ken enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, playing cards, gardening, watching the grandkids, and the Vikings.Ken will be fondly remembered for always being there for his family. Ken is survived by his wife of43 years, Linda; two sons, Tim (Jenni) Paulson, of Mantorville, and Tony (Shannon) Paulson, of Mantorville; seven grandchildren, Jim, Brett, Charlie, Tanner, Megan, Henry, and Tyler Paulson; and siblings, Deloris Stevens, of Atlantic, IA, Marilyn Fiegel, of Rochester, Bernice (Rollie) O'Groske, of Rochester, Everett (April) Paulson, of Kasson, and Jerry Paulson, of Minneapolis. Ken is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and a brother. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 301 8th Ave NW, Kasson with Rev. Randy Fett officiating.Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home and an hour prior to the service at the church.Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Mantorville. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials which will be dispersed by the family to a number of charitable organizations that hold special meaning for Ken. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Sunrise Cottage #2 for their loving and compassionate care they gave Ken this last year.God Bless you all.
