Memorial services for Kenneth Howard Hannah, age 87, will be 11 AM Friday November 15, 2013 at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Home in Rochester. Kenneth passed away November 11, 2013 at Golden Living Center in St. Charles, MN where he had resided since June. Born January 6, 1926 in Crookston, MN to Clarence & Mabel (Larson) Hannah, he served in the United States Navy during World War II and then earned a BBA from the University of Minnesota. He married the love of his life, Betty Lou Hauser on November 25, 1950. They lived in Minneapolis, where Kenneth worked for Honeywell in the Aeronautics Division for 35 years and worked on controls for the Apollo moon module and F16 fighter jet. He built his own cabin on Ottertail Lake and spent many happy hours working on projects there.He loved traveling with Betty, helping others and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.Kenneth moved to Rochester to live with his daughter in 2007 and moved to The Homestead at Rochester in 2009.Surviving are his children: Terry Jopke (Rick) of Rochester, Garry H. Hannah (Sandy) of Stillwater, MN, 4 grandchildren: Kimberlee Wolfenden (Stan), and Kallee Comstock (Joel), Chelsey Poquette (Jeff), Taylor Hannah, and three great grandchildren: Zachary and Jackson Wolfenden and Emma Comstock.Also surviving are his siblings: Bert Hannah (Gloria) of Boise, Idaho, Clarice Anderson of Crookston, MN, Glenn Hannah (Carol) of Renville, MN,Charles Hannah (Diane) ofBecker, MN, Vera Pester (Edward) of Fisher, MN, Curtis Hannah (Kathy) of Baxter, MN and Sharon Burtness (Wayne) of Maple Lake, MN.He was preceded in death by Betty on February 5, 2005, and also by a grandson, one sister, and one brother.Burial of his cremains will take place at a later date next to his wife at Topelius Cemetery in New York Mills, MN.Memorials appreciated to the National Parkinson Foundation.
