Kelli Klingbeil, "Chef Kelli", 50, of Rochester, MN died Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at her residence. Kelli Klingbeil was born January 23, 1970 to Robert and Charlotte (Lemke) Klingbeil in Green Bay, WI. She graduated from Preble High School in Green Bay, WI. She received her Culinary Arts degree from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, WI. She moved to Phoenix, AZ where she worked for Hyatt Corporation for many years in both Phoenix and Lake Tahoe. Her proudest moment in her career was opening her own restaurant, "The Seasons", in Appleton, WI. She was featured in the Fox Cities Magazine for her culinary talents, receiving the Golden Fork Award. Later in her career she managed banquet operations at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, WI. For the last thee years she lived and worked in Rochester, MN. Her passion was her career as a chef, and she treasured spending time with her family. She is now in heaven with her beloved dog, Bonnie. Kelli is survived by her parents, Robert and Charlotte Klingbeil of Florence, AZ; two sisters, Kerri (Wayne) Wiertzema of Cedarburg, WI and Kristi (Bob) Hutchison of Florence, AZ; and her nephews and niece, Cory, Matthew and Megan. She is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents. A private family service will be held at a later date.
