Keith Lee Lyver, age 69, of Rochester, Minnesota, went Home to be with the Lord on April 11, 2022, at Mayo - St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. Keith was born July 8, 1952, in Hibbing, Minnesota. He was the son of Lloyd Quinton and Florence (Rogers) Lyver. She was remarried to second marriage to Art Jivery. Keith attended Minnesota School for the Deaf in Faribault, Minnesota in 1959 and California School for the Deaf Riverside at Riverside, California in 1967. He then returned to Minnesota and married his High School sweetheart, Cynthia on July 21, 1979. He attended Winona Vocational school in 1990 and obtained AA degree in Body Shop. He then went on to different jobs and then worked at Target for ten years until his retirement in 2016. He was a member of Deaf Life Church: Rochester in Rochester, Minnesota. Keith and his wife enjoyed traveling to different states, fishing, doing landscaping work, having campfire chats together, loved going to cabin in Cushing, Minnesota, attending holiday parties and Bible Study and church events. Keith loves hunting as he did got antelopes twice and several deer in his life. Together, they have three cats as their "children," "Autumn", "Felix", and "Liam." Keith is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cynthia (Williamson) Lyver of Rochester, Minnesota; his brother, Craig Lyver of St. Cloud, Minnesota and a sister, Claudia (Chuck) Skalsky of Carlton, Minnesota; brother-in-law, Patrick (Pam) Williamson of Rochester, Minnesota and, nephew Travis Sullivan of Oregon; many friends from far and near. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Aletha Jackson, Linda Brekke and brothers, Wesley (Patty) Lyver, Paul Lyver; nephew, Bradley Lyver; sister in law, Becky Sullivan and, niece in law, Jessica Sullivan. A Celebration of Life will be at River Valley Church, 722 Ravine Street, Faribault, Minnesota 55021 with Deaf Life Church: Rochester and God's Barn Ministries on April 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Oronoco Cemetery in Oronoco, Minnesota at a later date. Luncheon follows service. Memorials are preferred to Cynthia (Williamson) Lyver. On behalf of Keith Lyver, the family extends their greatest appreciation to the doctors, nurses and for all the care and assistance during the length of time of her husband's and their brother's illness. Special thank you to Deaf Pastors who visited and prayed with Keith and, the ASL interpreters who interpreted for his wife, Cynthia during the time of her husband's medical meetings and funeral arrangements.
