Kaya Campbell

Kaya Mae Campbell was born on September 22, 2005, in Rochester, MN, where she spent her whole life. She passed away peacefully at home on November 18, 2024.

She is survived by her loving parents, Keith and Anna Campbell; her sisters, Cora and Haedyn; her maternal grandmother, Charline Rabe; her paternal grandparents, Patricia Brossman and Roger Campbell, Karen Campbell; and her great-grandmother, Joanne Brossman. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Leon Rabe.

Kaya graduated from Century High School in 2024 and was working toward her certification in emergency medicine. She had big plans to attend Minnesota State next fall to pursue a nursing degree. After high school graduation, Kaya worked as a care aide at Charter House, where she found a deep passion for taking care of her residents. She often shared how much she loved hearing their stories, finding joy in the lives of others. She loved reading, being outdoors, spending time with loved ones, and staying close to her dog, Snickers.

She had a natural ability to care for others and a special gift for brightening anyone's day. As we remember her, let us keep her family and friends in our thoughts and prayers. She will always be remembered as the vibrant, smiling young woman she was, and will forever remain in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Destiny Church, 3240 40th Ave NW, Rochester, Minnesota. Visitation will be from 2-4pm on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, Minnesota as well as one hour prior to the service at the church.
