Kathryn "Katie" E. Weatherly

Kathryn E. Katie Weatherly, 74, died at her home in Rochester on Friday, May 10, 2013. Kathryn Edith Gannon was born on May 13, 1938 to Harold and Bessie (Pyburn) Gannon in Rochester, MN. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1956. Katie married William Bill Weatherly on July 7, 1957 in Rochester. She was Deputy Treasurer for Olmsted County for twenty-five years. Katie was a member of Homestead United Methodist Church, the Treasurer for the Huff and Puff Club, and a member ofAmerican Legion Post 92 Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, music, going out to lunch with her co-workers, playing pull tabs and trips to Treasure Island. Katie loved spending time with her grand daughters, family and friends. Katie is survived by her husband William Bill Weatherly, Rochester, MN; her children, Shari (Don) Adler, Holiday, Fl, Brian Weatherly, IA, and Todd (Robbin) Weatherly, Rochester, MN; four grandchildren, Erin and Amy Weatherly, Tonya and Travis Kruger; a great grand daughter Shelby Scott; her sister Pat Gannon, Madison, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Susan, a brother Gerald, and a sister Delores. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home. A private family burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
