Kathleen Suzanne Kutter

Kathleen S. Kutter, 88, of Rochester, MN, formerly of Eugene, OR passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Rochester Rehabilitation Living Center. Kathleen Suzanne was born on January 26, 1929 to Robert and Hyacinth (Resch) Nilles in St. Paul, MN. She graduated from Wilson High School. After high school, she worked for the Red Cross. She married Raymond Wilde December 27, 1948 in St. Paul. Due to Raymond serving in the military, the couple lived in several states and countries. Raymond passed away in 1963. On February 2, 1966 Kathleen married Donald Kutter in St. Paul, MN and the couple moved to Eugene, OR. She was a home maker for many years and later a church secretary at St. Jude Catholic Church in Eugene, OR. Donald passed away in 1975. Kathleen was a member of the Altar Society and was involved with organizing many of the church ministries. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, going to the beach in Florence, vacations back to MN and staying up late talking and laughing. Kathleen is survived by her children, Ruth (Paul) Daley of Byron, Joyce (Bruce) Jones of Milwaukie, OR, Raymond (Ann) Wilde of Hillsboro, OR, Robert (Becky) Wilde of Bend, OR Melanie Kutter of Byron, MN; one sister-in-law, Jean Nilles; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother and two husbands. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Thomas Loomis officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church. There will be a memorial service in Eugene, OR at St. Jude Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017.
