Kathleen Ann Ebnet

Kathleen Ann Ebnet, 68, of Rochester, formerly of Chatfield, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at her home. Kathleen was born January 23, 1946 in Parson, Kansas to Robert and Alice (Scaletty) Macke. She was a graduate of Holy Angels Academy and the Minnesota School of Hair Design. On September 25, 1965, in Shakopee, Kathleen married Larry Ebnet. She owned and operated Fashion Trend Beauty Salon in Chatfield for numerous years. Kathleen was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where she belonged to the ladies group, Moment to Moment. She enjoyed playing duplicate bridge, golf, gardening, playing piano, arts and crafts, especially her drawing and had a love for dogs. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports. Above all, Kathleen loved spending time making memories with her family. Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Larry; sons, Paul (Julie) Ebnet of Chatfield, Mike (Krishina) Means-Ebnet of Burnsville, Chris (Michelle) Ebnet of Rochester; grandchildren, Brandon, Madison, and Joshua; mother, Alice Macke of Hastings, MN; brother, Chuck (Julie) Macke of Webster, WI and sister, Elaine (Tom) Bell of Northfield, MN. Kathleen was preceded in death by her father, Robert. A memorial mass will be held 11:00 am Monday, November 17, 2014 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 5455 50th Ave. NW., Rochester, MN. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Father Tomas Loomis will be the celebrant. Inurnment will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
