ROCHESTER:June Timm, 89, of Rochester, MN died Monday, October 12, 2015 at Samaritan Bethany Home on 8th. June was born May 31, 1926 in Butternut, WI to Sam and Mathilda (Schultz) Holt.On June 14, 1947, she married Richard Timm in Butternut, WI and was married 64 years before Richards death in 2012. In addition to being a homemaker, June and her husband, Richard owned and operated the Butternut Lumber and Hardware for many years.Later, June was a cook at the Butternut Public Schools.She also was a member of St. Pauls Ladies Aid and the American Legion Auxiliary. June loved getting together with friends, doing crafts, and helped organize a homemakers club with several friends.They got together once a month at each others homes and worked on a craft project.While living in Wisconsin, June loved to spend hours sitting on the swing and watching birds in her yard.She also enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with friends.June loved spoiling her grandchildren.June will be remembered for her gentle smile, silent strength, and servant heart of always doing for others.June was always very appreciative of the care she was given in her later years. June is survived by her four daughters, Natalie Timm, Lynne (David) Frantz, Gretchen (Hiromu) Aoki and Kristine (Wayne) Boettger; grandchildren, Thomas (Yukie), Ben and Anna Aoki, Eric Frantz, Emily and Paige Boettger; great granddaughter, Yui Aoki; sister, Evon Jourdan and other family and friends.June was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; son, Thomas; sisters, Mavis Treml and Irene Treml; and brother, Bud Holt. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Grace Lutheran Church (800 Silver Lake Drive NERochester, MN) with Pastor Greg Heidorn officiating.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.Burial will be held at a later date in Butternut, WI. Memorials are preferred to Rochester Central Lutheran School or Ronald McDonald House.
