Julie A. Schinke

Julie A. Schinke, age 61, of Dodge Center, MN passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at her home. Julie Ann Schinke was born March 4, 1957 in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gordon and Jane (Schimmelpfennig) Grosenick. She attended John Marshall High School and graduated in 1975. She than began her 40 year career with Mayo and was currently still working at her time of passing. Julie married Robert Schinke on March 14, 1993. They made their home in Dodge Center where she loved spending time with her family especially grandchildren. Julie enjoyed fishing and trips to Duluth and Lake Superior. She was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan and was able to visit Lambeau field. Julie is survived by her husband, Robert Schinke of Dodge Center, MN; two children, Christy Steele of Rochester and Tim (Carissa) Frericks of Byron; 7 step-children; 4 grandchildren, Jakob, Alydia, Brinlyn, and Josie; many step grandchildren; her father, Gordon Grosenick of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her mother, infant son and a sister. A Celebration of Life service for Julie will be held 6:30 PM on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN 55901. The family will greet friends from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
