Joyce Marie Olson

A funeral service for Joyce M. Olson, 78 of Rochester, MN will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Christ Lutheran Church in Rochester with the Rev. Scott Schilbe officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and also 1 hour prior to the funeral at the church.Joyce Marie Schriever was born on May 27, 1932 in rural Oronoco, MN to Herman and Gertrude (Karlan) Schriever. She died on October 19, 2010 at Seasons Hospice in Rochester.Joyce attended schools in Oronoco and Rochester High School. She worked 40 years for Kemp Foods in payroll and human resources, retiring in 1996. She married Myron Olson on May 14, 1954 in Oronoco, MN. Joyce enjoyed ceramics, needlework, dancing, going out to dinner and family get togethers.Survivors include her daughter, Michelle (Rick) Luckadoo of Rochester, MN; her two granddaughters, Crystal Luckadoo (Josh Lee) of Minneapolis, MN and Tiffany Luckadoo of Rochester, MN; her brother, Robert (Pauline) Schriever of Chatfield, MN; and her sister, Betty Scheffler of Pine Island, MN.
