Jonathan Fryer

Jonathan Paul Fryer, 52, of Rochester, MN passed away Friday, Oct. 20th, 2017 after a stroke. Jon was born November 17, 1964 into a loving family of parents Marilyn and Richard Fryer and siblings Becky and Chris. Jon was special from the start. His parents were told he might never sit up. He did. They were told he might never walk. He ran. They were told he might never communicate. He spoke volumes. He brought joy to so many and loved giving high fives, thumbs ups and hugs to all he met. Jon lived at Bear Creek Services-Mary Ridge and attended PossAbilities Senior's program, and had many dear friends at both. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn, his sister Becky (Ron) Nystuen, his brother Chris (Kelly) Fryer, his dear friend Marcia Bjork, as well as 6 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, infant twin brothers and his father, Richard Fryer. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Zumbro Lutheran Church (624 3rd Avenue SW). Visitation will take place from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Private interment to take place at a later date. Memorials preferred to Bear Creek Services, PossAbilities of Southern MN, The Arc-SE MN or Zumbro Lutheran Church.
