Funeral services for John Jerome Wolf, age 87 of Rochester, Minnesota, who passed away September 19, 2012, will be held at 11 AM Monday, September 24, 2012, at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Home Chapel with Father Joseph Fogal officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. John was born April 24, 1925, in Dickinson, North Dakota, to Alex & Barbara (Muehlberger) Wolf. He served in the Army during 1948-1949 and was again called to active duty during the Korean War and served in Japan from 1950 to July 1951. He married Emily Kubisiak on May 21, 1955, in Dickinson. He began his career as a sales representative in 1947 with The Fad, Inc., a retail clothing store in Dickinson, became a partner-owner of the business in 1960, and retired in 1986. He and his wife moved from Dickinson to Rochester in 1997. He was a member of Pax Christi Catholic Church and a life member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks Lodge #1137. He is survived by his wife, Emily Wolf of Rochester, MN, five children: Timothy J. Wolf (Gloria) of LeCenter, MN, Paul A. Wolf (Svetlana) of Rochester, MN, Mary J. Moss (William) of Farmington, MN, Ann L. Schulze (Gregory) of Fargo, ND, and Robert C. Wolf (Sherry) of Rochester, MN, eleven grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and six brothers. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Home on the Range, 16351 I-94, Sentinel Butte, ND 58654.
