John Daniel Skinner

ROCHESTER, MINN:John D. Dan Skinner, 68, died July 5, 2014 at his home in Rochester. John Daniel Skinner was born October 27, 1945 to John O. Skinner and Elizabeth Ramsey Skinner in Lafayette , IN. After graduating from High School and College, Dan worked for I.B.M., the Kahler Corp., and for many years, has owned and operated his own computer business. Dan married Lynn E. Waterman on February 14, 1981 in Rochester, MN. He was passionate about his family, fine cars, and living life to the fullest. Dan was an active member of Rochester Rotary for over 30 years. Dan is survived by his wife Lynn Skinner, Rochester, MN; his three daughters, Christine (Kyle) Dick, Rochester, MN, Jennifer Walker, Elgin, MN and Jacki Skinner, Cleveland, OH; five grandchildren; a sister Jackie (David) Neil, Stockwell, IN and a brother Jeff (Rhonda) Skinner, Stockwell, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Service and a celebration of his life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on July 10, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes' Chapel. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.The family requests bright colors be worn to the service as a part of his lifes celebration.
