ROCHESTER -Joe E. Fields, 79, died on Monday, February 17, 2014 at Cottagewood Senior Communities. Joe was born in Jacksboro County, TX on July 27, 1934 to W.C. And Zella (Cook) Fields.He married Beverly Barrett on June 7, 1951 in Graham, TX.Joe and Bev moved to Rochester in 1954.Joe owned and operated Fields Printing and Office Supply.He was active in the business community and was a Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador.Joe and Bev lived on the river near Wabasha for many years.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and other outdoor activities, especially with his family.Joe also enjoyed his trips to the casino.He loved his family and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Joe is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beverly; sons, Steve (Terry) Fields, of Rochester, and Tim (Linda) Fields, of Rochester; grandchildren, Mike, Andy, Dennis (Constance), Dan (Chrissy), Wade, Eric, Kari, and Jeff (Tami) Fields; great grandchildren, Riley, Maddie, Alex, Jake, Easton, and future great grandson, Wyatt; and brothers, Leasel, Jimmy, and Don. Joe is preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister; brother, Jerry; and his oldest son, Joe Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home.Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
