Joe Drennan

Joe Drennan, 76, of Rochester, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Rochester Methodist Hospital. Joe was born March 10, 1937 in Rockwell City, IA to Ernest and Cleo (Hiler) Drennan. He attended Grinnell College and later served in the US Army. Joe had a very entrepreneurial spirit in both finance and sales and developed a lot of solid relationships in Rochester that still exist today. Joe enjoyed traveling, watching the MN Vikings, walking and spending time with his daughters. He is survived by his children, Lora (Michael) Kane of Pine Island, Maureen (Mark) Kelley of Rochester, Rhonda Drennan (John Chappuis) of Rochester, Jayne (Pete) Bushman of Rochester, and Katie Drennan of Minneapolis; ten grandchildren Michelle, Anthony, Madeline, Melissa, Correy, Danielle, Cassandra, Joe, Lee, and Michael; and three great grandchildren Derek, Emmalee, and Andrew. A Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 5455 50th Ave NW, Rochester, with the Reverend Donald Schmitz officiating. Burial will be held in Oakwood Cemetery. A visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Memorials are appreciated to A.B.C.
