Funeral services for Joan M. Horter, 57, of Rochester, MN will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Joan Marie Horter was born on October 14, 1957 in Rochester to John and Arlene (Benike) Horter.She passed away on August 23, 2015 at her home. Joan graduated from John Marshal High School and received an Associate Degree from RCTC.She worked for Think Bank for many years and was currently working at Hy-Vee.She enjoyed her dog, Chloe, and listening to music and watching horror movies. Survivors include her son, Brent Maloney of Rochester and her daughter, Lenora Maloney of Rochester; her father, John Horter and two sisters, Barbara Peterson (Jeffrey Boehm) and Marjorie (Mark) Maitland, all of Rochester.Joan was preceded in death by her mother. Memorials are suggested to Safe Haven Pet Rescue.
