Jessica Ann Wiggins

Jessica Ann (Clausen) Wiggins age 39 of Oronoco passed away February 8, 2012 at Rochester Methodist Hospital.Born March 12, 1972 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Darrell & Vesta (Brouwer) Clausen. A loving and outstanding wife, mother, daughter and friend to all, Jessica always appreciated time spent with family.As the foundation her own family was built on, she set the example of hard work and high personal and ethical standards, fostering the best qualities in her children, family and those she worked with. Her bright smile shining on everyone around her, the unbridled joy she took in the simple things in life was truly genuine and infectious.Among those simple pleasures was shopping. If you were a friend of Jessica, you shopped with Jessica.She had a sincere interest in everyones life, asking the probing questions until she became a close confidante and trusted friend. These qualities allowed her to build a network of close friends that became family, and a family that were close friends. As an active member of Zumbro Lutheran Church, she taught Sunday school and participated in prayer chains.After working as a X-ray Technician at St. Lukes Hospital and Burgess Memorial Hospital in Iowa, she attended the Mayo School of Health Sciences sonography program. She was employed for the last 15 years at Mayo Clinic as a Registered Vascular Technician and Diagnostic Medical Sonographer where her high standards in patient care gained the respect and admiration of her peers as well as patients. The passing of Jessica leaves pain in our hearts that she is no longer with us, and joy in our souls that she has completed her mission here on earth and is now receiving her reward with the Father. She married John Wiggins on December 16, 1995 in Sioux City, Iowa and he survives.Also surviving are her three children: Isabella, Samuel, and Olivia all at home.Her parents: Darrell & Vesta Clausen of Sioux City, IA her paternal grandmother: Carol Rice of Sioux City, IA2 sisters: Lesa Augley of Bloomfield, NE and Amber Kilburn (Eric) of Sioux City, IA 4 brothers: Derek Clausen and Robert Rice (Vivian) both of Sioux City, IA, Drake Clausen (Trisha) of Phoenix, AZ and Michael Clausen (Mandy) of Bronson, IA she was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents and a nephew Gabriel Clausen. A Memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Zumbro Lutheran Church 624 3rd Ave SW Rochester, MN. with Pastor Jason Bryan-Wegner officiating.Aluncheon will follow the service. An additional memorial service and burial will take place at a later date in Sioux City, Iowa. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to her family.
