Jesse Andrew Brewington

EYOTA -Jesse A. Brewington, 34, died on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at his home in Hampton, MN surrounded by his family after a hard fought, nine month battle with stomach cancer. Jesse was born in Rochester onAugust 23, 1976 to Sam and Dawn (Arends) Brewington.He married Karlyn Smith on May 1, 2011 in Hampton.Jesse was a Radio Communications Officer in Rochester from 1999-2007.He then was promoted to State Communications Center Coordinator for the Metro State Patrol Communications in Roseville.Jesse's passion was music, singing, guitar playing, and attending concerts.He also enjoyed coaching girls basketball, riding his Harley, woodworking, and sports, including NASCAR, golf, and softball.He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. Jesse is survived by his wife, Karlyn Brewington, of Hampton, MN; his mother, Dawn Brewington, of Eyota; his father and stepmother, Sam and Barb Brewington, of Blooming Prairie, MN; a brother, Kale Brewington, of Eyota, MN; a sister, Jaime Brewington, of Burnsville, MN; a step sister, Angela (Nicholas) Mitchell, of Colchester, England; grandmothers, Elaine Arends and Raemona Christenson; a grandfather, Joseph Reiland, of Rochester; nieces and nephews, Sienna Brewington, of Burnsville, Kaden Schuchard, of Eyota, and Kole Brewington, of Eyota; and many cousins, aunts and uncles, including those in his brand new family. Jesse is preceded in death by two grandfathers, Bob Brewington and Ranard Arends; and an uncle, Bob Brewington. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday,August 6, 2011 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Gauthier officiating.Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. on Friday,August 5, 2011 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home and an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Dover, MN.
