Jennifer Lynn Crooks Jennifer Lynn Crooks of Rochester passed away March 11, 2012. Jennifer was born October 11, 1969 to Thomas Tom & Darlene Dolly (Hoffman) Crooks.Jennifer was a special gift to her family and to all those that knew her as everyone in her life was also a special gift to her.She had a love of music and singing which brought her much joy and happiness.Watching movies, especially her favorite Rocky I, was also one of her favorite pastimes.She attended special education through high school and was involved with Possabilities where she enjoyed everything from the time spent there to the outings like going shopping or out to eat. The last five years Jennifer was thrilled to live with her mother and father in S.W. Rochester.She was full of unconditional love, making people happy while her contagious smile brightened the day of those around her. Jennifer was happiest being around other people all of whom she truly loved.Despite challenging times and illness Jennifer always remained happy and full of joy.She formed a very special bond with all of the caregivers on Mary Brigh 6F Respiratory Care Unit who helped extend her life and made her and her family as comfortable as possible.Throughout her life she and her family were blessed to have had many special caregivers who helped her along her journey, and her family wishes to extend thanks to all those wonderful individuals. Jennifer is survived by her parents, Tom & Dolly Crooks of Rochester; 2 sisters, Deb Suppes (George) of Lakeville and Cheri DeRuiter (Steve) of Rochester; and one brother Jon Crooks of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Jennifer's life and what she meant to so many will be held at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes starting at 11AM on Saturday, March 17, 2012 with visitation with the family followed by a memorial service at 1PM.All are welcome to attend!
