Jeanette Esther Erickson

Jeanette Esther Erickson was born to parents John and Ruth Erickson (nee Lydeen) in Alexandria, Minnesota on January 30, 1922. She grew up in Alexandria alongside brother Lloyd Erickson, attending grade school in the small midwestern town. Jeanette ventured to Kansas City to make airplane parts at a bomber plant in Kansas City. She returned to Minnesota to land in Rochester around 1946, working as a launder at Model Laundry and provided other textile services in town.

Jeanette enjoyed the serenity found while fishing, the natural beauty of flowers, and keeping her hands nimble with crocheting. She also often returned to Alexandria to visit with her family.  Jeanette is survived by her six nieces and her many great-nieces and -nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Lloyd and his wife Isabelle Erickson, a niece, and a nephew.
