Jay Siegle passed away unexpectedly in a house fire Monday March 28 ,2022. Jay was born May 3, 1965 in Rochester, MN. He attended Dover- Eyota Schools graduating in 1983. Jay then joined the Army Reserves and was deployed for Desert Storm in 2010 and served a year in Iraq. Jay was employed at Concast in Wanamingo, as a supervisor welder. Jay loved being in the outdoors, fishing, hiking, camping, and sitting by the campfire listening to music. Jay also loved spending time with his furbabies and made sure they knew they were loved every day. Jay was the life of the party, had the best sense of humor, and made sure everyone was always having a good time. Jay had a very big heart and was always willing to help if he knew someone was struggling. Jay is survived by his wife Monica, mother Judy (Rich) Koperski, father Jim (Kari) Siegle, brothers Jonathan (Lori) Siegle, and Brandon Siegle, step sister Shelly Romness. Daughters Amanda Freeland and her three daughters, Krysta (Brandon) Lowrey and their three sons. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle Jeanne (Judd) Watson, cousin Rhonda (Adam) Lambrecht, niece Jamie (Ben)Swank. Mother in law Annaliese Koerner, sister in laws Mary (Tim) Hutchinson, and Angie (Terry) Baker, brother in law Karl Koerner, sister in law Cindy Markstrom Siegle and many nieces and nephews. Jay was preceded in death by his brother Steve Siegle, grandparents Rev. John (Florence) Siegle, and Leland (Evelyn) Ihrke, and nephew Jeff Orr. Also his six furbabies Ike, Sammy, Abigail, Peanut, Tuffy, Axel, and Punky.
