Jay Lee Hicks

Jay Lee Hicks was born on December 17, 1997 in Pyongtaek, Kyunggi-do, South Korea. He passed away on June 3, 2019 at his home. Jay graduated from Rochester Off Campus Charter High School in 2016. He worked in the food industry and volunteered at Camp Moon Hwa in Rochester. He enjoyed long-boarding, video gaming, movies and spending time with his brother and friends. Jay is survived by his parents, Ray and Nancy Hicks of Rochester and his brother Kyle Hicks of Rochester. Funeral services will be 12:30 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at A.H. Peters Funeral Home in Warren, Michigan. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Traverse City, Michigan. Memorials can be directed to The National Alliance on Mental Illness or any mental health services.
