Jauneita E. Johnson

Jauneita E. Johnson, 89, of Rochester, MN passed on April 13, 2014 at Madonna Towers.There will be a private family graveside at Grandview Memorial Gardens. Jauneita Strange was born on October 9, 1924 in Ault, CO to James and Letha (Tidwell) Strange. She was the supervisor of a research lab at Mayo Clinic, retiring after 37 years.She married Walter Ogg on December 31, 1948, and he passed away in 1973.She married Ronald Johnson on May 3, 1979.Jauneita enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, cribbage, hiking and camping. Survivors include her son, Gary Johnson of Eden Prairie, MN; 2 grandchildren, Megan and Andrew Johnson, a great grandson, Ethan and a sister, Virginia Redhair of Cedar Rapids, IA and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Dale and James Strange and 3 sisters: Beatrice Strange, Mildred Livefcy and Bonnie Gannaway.
