Janice K. Bedtke

Dover- Funeral services for Janice K. Bedtke, age 55, who died at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester on Wednesday June 9th of cancer after a short illness, will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Autumn Ridge Church in Rochester. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00P.M.- 8:00P.M.at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes in Rochester, and then at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Memorials are requested to Seasons Hospice. Burial will be in Little Valley Cemetery.Janice was born February 1, 1955 to Russell and Emma (Nagel) Fink in Austin, MN. She attended rural school before coming to Rochester where she attended Mayo High School. She worked as a Surgical Tech at the Methodist Hospital for a number of years. She married Jim Bedtke in Stewartville on November 7, 1975. She currently was working as Office Manager for Bedtke Brothers Feed and Seed Co. in Dover.Janice enjoyed going to Casinos, traveling and having Saturday morning breakfast with family and friends, her 2004 Mustang convertible, and especially her 8 month old grandson, Michael Robert Bedtke Jr. whom she referred to as Buster, or MR.Janice was a very giving person and the first to offer help to anyone in need. She will be truly be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Jim; a son, Michael Robert Bedtke (Jackie) of Dover; grandson, Michael Robert Bedtke Jr.; 2 sisters, Laura Jean Lecy (Delbert) of Dexter, MN and Susan Fink of Rochester, MN; and 4 brothers, David Fink (Dawn) of Rochester, MN, Jim Fink (Kathy) of Coure de Alene, Idaho, John Fink (Cindy) of Edina, MN and Dan Fink (Emma Jean) of Rochester, MN.
