Janet O. WalbruchJanet Orrilla Walbruch age 87 of Rochester passed away March 22, 2011 at Samaritan Bethany Heights where she resided the past 2 years. Born June 27, 1923 in Clear Lake, South Dakota to Bert & Bernice (McKeown) Muxlow. She married Theodore Frederick Walbruch on July 15, 1952 and he preceded her in death on July 29, 1970. She moved to Byron at the age of 7, graduated from Byron High School in 1941, and attended college at Rochester Junior College and Mankato State University. She then began her employment with Mayo Clinic. She worked 34 years in the Clerical desk system, where she served in a supervisory capacity, retiring in the late 1980's. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Survivors include her children: Laurie Shepanik (David) of Brooklyn Center, MN and Jeffrey Walbruch (Elizabeth Mala) of Rosemount, MN. 4 Grandchildren: Joshua Walbruch, Hannah Walbruch, Nicole Shepanik, and Amy Shepanik and 2 sisters: Gene Luren of Minneapolis, MN and Laura Whitcomb of Chatfield. Memorial services will be held 11 AM Friday at Christ United Methodist Church 400 5th Ave SW Rochester, MN with Rev. Michael Wuehler officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
