Janet A. Hofschulte

A graveside service for Janet A. Hofschulte, 74, of Rochester will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Grandview Memorial Gardens.Visitation will be from 3:00 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes. Janet A. Daniels was born on June 22, 1939 in Rochester, Minnesota to Ray and Joyce (Yennie) Daniels.She died on January 8, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by her family. Janet graduated from Rochester High School and worked in the ticket office at the Chateau Theater.After graduation, she worked as a receptionist and switchboard operator at the Rochester State Hospital for 19 years. On September 1, 1977, she married Larry Hofschulte.She later farmed and cared for her mother and brother in Haverhill Township.She enjoyed farming, gardening and flowers, anything to do with being outdoors.She loved her two dogs and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Larry; her son, Ethan (Amy) Hofschulte of Rochester; grandchildren, Bryan, Wyatt, Adelia and Annalise; and special friend, Gloria Best of Rochester.She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Stephen.
