James Vincent Ross Iii

James (Jim) Vincent Ross III, 62 passed away March 4, 2016. in Sarasota Florida. Jim was born in Durham, North Carolina on February 4, 1954. His family relocated to Rochester when Jim was three years old. Jim considered himself as a life time resident of Rochester. Jim was active in the business community in Rochester. He was the Financial Director of the Marriot Hotel, downtown Rochester. Visitation will be held on Friday April 1, 2016 from 4 -7 PM and a Funeral Service Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2PM. Both shall be held at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Home at 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN. (corner of 18th Ave & 55 Street NW). Jim is survived, by his wife Penny (Fenske) Ross, a daughter Dr. Elizabeth Reed (husband Josh), his son James V Ross IV, brother Dr. Tom (Nan) Ross from Des Moines Iowa, and sister, Katherine Ross from Minneapolis. He was also a devoted grandfather to Clara and Bennett Reed. Jim was preceded in death of his father Dr. James Ross. His mother, Margaret G. Ross passed shortly after Jim, on March 25, 2016.
