James Larry Blessing

ROCHESTER, MINN:James L. Blessing, 74, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at St. Marys Hospital. James Larry Blessing was born December 8, 1940 to Allen and Hazel (Cole) Blessing in Spirit Lake, IA. James graduated from Stewartville, MN High School in 1958. He served in the Army and worked for many years as a carpenter and in maintenance. James enjoyed hunting and fishing. James is survived by his twin sister Judith Blessing, Rochester, MN, Margaret Doyle, Sibley, IA, Allen (Rhodora) Blessing, Hampton, IA, and Virginia Conlon, Spencer, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents and six sisters. A private family service will be held at a later date with burial in Hamilton Cemetery, Racine, MN.
