Jacquelyn "Jackie" Marie Taylor, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 4, 2022. Jacquelyn Marie (Gorath) Taylor was born on September 11, 1953 in Rochester, MN to parents Henry and Virginia (Farrand) Gorath. She was one of six children. Jackie grew up in Rochester and graduated from John Marshall High School. She began her career at C & G Claims Service, and later went on to waitressing. She enjoyed the restaurant industry, and dedicated 26 years of work to John Hardy's Barbeque. Jackie had two daughters, Jen and Faith. Jackie's hobbies included reading, playing cards or board games with her grandchildren, knitting booties and blankets for all of her great-grandchildren, watching anything with Betty White, and spending time outdoors. She loved her family and would do anything for them. Her witty personality and strong willed character will be missed by many. Jackie is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Scott) Kee and Faith (Dion) Rindahl, both of Rochester, MN; her grandchildren, Janessa (Scott) Weatherly, Stacie Gorath, Cortney (Kyle) Sivesind, Payton Lawson, Destiny Lilly (Fiancé, Payton), Austin Drake, and Kira Cordell; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Deb) Gorath, of Grand Rapids, MN, Phil (Linda) Gorath, of Grand Rapids, MN, Greg Gorath, of the Twin Cities, MN, and Rick Gorath, of Ostrander, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Virginia; and her sister, Nancy Gorath. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
