Howard Wilton Raygor

Howard Wilton Raygor, 77, of Stewartville, Minnesota passed away at Spring Valley Care Center on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Howard was born June 20, 1944 in Rochester, MN to Mearl and Beatrice (Colvin) Raygor. He graduated from the Hillcrest Academy in 1963 and went on to join the Navy from 1964-1967. Howard then began his career as an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed aviation and received his own private pilot's license. Howard loved to travel the world and visited five out of seven continents. Howard is survived by his children, Nathan (Tarlene Richards) Raygor of Minneapolis, Sheryl (John Harrison II) Raygor of Roseville, and Jonathon Kowalewski of Yokosuka, Japan; past wives Sophie Kowalewski & Thelma Johnson; along with his brothers and sisters. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Grace. A Funeral service to celebrate Howard's life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place Rd. NW, Rochester, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial with full military honors by American Legion Post #92 will take place at Union Cemetery, Pleasant Grove.
