Henrietta Amelia Siem

Henrietta Amelia Siem, 100, of Rochester, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Seasons Hospice. Henrietta was born March 28, 1913 in Olmsted County to William and Mary (Amos) Henke.On September 18, 1934 Henrietta married Edgar Siem at her mothers home in Rochester.Henrietta was a devoted farmwife and homemaker in rural Rochester.She was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by her children, Richard (Sharon) Siem of Rochester, Maxine Kemnitz of Rochester, Roger (Denise) Siem of Elgin, Patricia (Ray) Hart of Rochester; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar; daughter, Rosalee; grandson, Douglas; parents; 4 brothers and 1 sister. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 222 6th Ave. SW, Rochester.Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester and one hour prior to the service at the church. Rev. Joel Haak will be officiating with interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
