Hella Wendt

Hella Wendt, 79, of Pemberton, MN. passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN. Hella (Reisch) Wendt was born May 7, 1943 in Offenburg, Germany to parents, Ernest and Leonie (Harnecker) Reisch. Hella married the love of her life, Otto Wendt, on August 8, 1964 in Offenburg, West Germany. After the birth of their son Peter, they immigrated to the Waldorf-Pemberton area in October of 1966. Their daughter Dorothea was born two years later. Hella loved cats and nature. She enjoyed going to their cabin near Williams, MN. Some of her hobbies included traveling, spending time with her family and cooking them delicious German meals. She retired from Brown Printing Company after 28 years of service. Hella is survived by her husband, Otto; her son Peter (Danielle); her daughter, Dorothea (Justin); and grandchildren, Merlyn (Amanda), Michael, James (Morgan) and Wyatt; great grandchild, Michelle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Leonie; as well as her brother, Hans; and sister, Erika.
