Helen M. Berhow

Memorial services for Helen M. Berhow, 87, of Rochester will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes in Rochester. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens. Helen Marie Rensmon was born on January 18, 1929 in Worth County, Iowa to Abel and Luella (Nystuen) Rensmon. She died on January 12, 2017 at Samaritan Bethany on 8th. Helen attended country school and graduated from Lake Mills High School. On May 28, 1950 she married Milford L. Berhow at the Bristol Lutheran Church in Worth County, Iowa. The couple lived in Albert Lea , MN until 1954 when they moved to Rochester. She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and active with WELCA. She enjoyed spending time with her family and sewing, crocheting and gardening. Survivors include her husband, Milford Berhow of Rochester; two daughters, Jane (Gene) Frank of Rochester and Nancy (Michael) Stadille of San Diego, California; three grandchildren, Matthew (Amber) Frank, Jillian (Shawn) Elsbury and Nicholas Stadille; three great grandchildren, Riley Elsbury and Hayley and Lucas Frank; and three sisters, Agnes Tiede of Rochester, Dorothy (Duane) Fieck of Omaha, Nebraska and Carolyn Boelter of Rochester.
