Helen Lenz

Helen Larson Lenz, died on September 1, 2016. She was born in Halstad, MN and grew up on a farm. After high school, she was trained and licensed as a medical and x-ray technician in Fargo, ND. She was employed by a physician in Wabasha, MN for ten years before her marriage to Werner Lenz. The couple had two children, Jacqueline and Brian. Mrs. Lenz was active doing volunteer work, mainly through her church. She loved flowers and gardening, collecting dolls, and working word puzzles. She was a voracious reader and loved to be with family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993, her seven siblings, and her grandson, Erik Tweeton, in 2008. Survivors include her daughter, Jacqueline (Daryl) Tweeton; son, Brian; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
