Helen Jean (Jeanie) Jenkins 83, of Rochester, MN went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 24, surrounded by family as she peacefully passed. Jeanie was born August 28, 1936 in Lewisburg, PA to Lee and Rachel Paige and relocated to Rochester in 1958 with her late husband James Phillips who preceded her in death on May 18, 1984. Jeanie enjoyed people and lived life to the fullest. She was employed at Rochester Methodist Hospital (switchboard operator), International Transport, Midwest Trucking and St. Mary's Gift Shop. Jeanie later married her late husband William Jenkins who preceded her in death on September 22, 2019. Jeanie and Bill enjoyed family celebrations, traveling to Hawaii and Alaska, volunteering at church and the nursing home in Pennsylvania during their retirement years. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday, August 4th at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN 55901 with Chaplain Bernard "Butch" Lewellin". Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 safety guidelines masks will be required for all visitation and services. Jeanie is survived by her children, Roxy (Randy) Lane of Rochester, MN, Debbie (Keith) Elias of Byron, MN, Carla Yeadon of Rochester, MN, Jay (Linda) Phillips of Byron, MN, Sister Bonnie (William) Foulds II of West Milton, PA, 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and William Jenkins children Linda (John) Burwell of Kansas City, MO, Diane (Lloyd) Moore of Kansas City, MO, 5 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren.
