Heather Marie (Hofbauer) Waychoff, 44, of Rochester, passed away unexpectedly, December 30, 2016 from a severe undiagnosed health issue. Heather was born November 8, 1972 in Rochester to Donald W. Jr. and JoAnn Hofbauer (Helmbrecht) Heather was a graduate of Mayo High School. On February 22, 1992, she married Joseph Butch Waychoff, left everything she knew behind and shortly moved to a little town in Tennessee to start her own family, at a young age, with her family miles apart in Rochester, Minnesota. She enjoyed lots of crafts but mostly cross stitching, being a stay at home mom, and loved to be a caregiver. Heather was an unselfish person she always thought of others before herself. She loved taking those summer trips to the beach and walking the sand bar at night, finding shells while listening to the waves crash against the shore, while the bright moon shined down upon the ocean water twinkling away and always glancing over her shoulder at the 5 footprints, some small some big, left behind in the sand as we walked for hours laughing, playing, and chasing the waves We also had the unforgettable family drive miles back to MN for the white Christmas with all the family and friends gathered, finally home again. Heather is survived by her children, Ashley Waychoff and her son, Mason, Brianna Waychoff (Clayton Owen) and their children, Eli, Caiden and Aubrielle Owen, Courtney Waychoff, Tristan Waychoff from Lyles, TN; father, Donald W. Hofbauer, Jr; sister, Trina Hofbauer (Chris Cowell) and their children, Jaeden, Connor and Kacy Cowell from Reno, NV, sister, Jennifer Hofbauer-Plunkett and her children, Chanelle, Siara and Javon Hofbauer, Travanti Jr., Traevon and Maleah Plunkett; brother, Benjamin Luther of Rochester and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
