Harriet Sullivan, 98, peacefully passed away surrounded by family at Cottagewood Senior Living Community on March 26, 2019, following a stroke. Harriet Jean Glover was born on October 11, 1920, the first of six children, of Harry and Daisy (Lyman) Glover. She grew up on the Glover family farm, attended Stewartville High School, and graduated in 1939. On April 10, 1944, she married Gerald J. (Joe) Sullivan. The couple lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia where Joe was stationed in the Army. Following World War II, they made their home in Chatfield, North Ft. Myers, Florida, and Lanesboro. Harriet is survived by her son, Patrick Sullivan (Cindy Cocker-Millar), daughter Carol (Ron) Nordstrom, and Lynda Nelson. Grandchildren; Rick Sullivan (Erin Greene), David Nordstrom (Lisa Kimball), Jenny (Eric) Kaiser, Benny Sullivan (Alanna Robinson) and Benny's mother Pam Sullivan. Great-Grandchildren; Ryan Nordstrom, Lauren Kerznar and Gabby Kaiser. Sisters; Fran Gentling and Margie Koch. Brother, Wes (Karen) Glover and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Joe, son; Michael, daughter; Joanie, grandchildren; Michele and Marty, sister; Marian Johnson, and brother; Franklin "Buddy" Glover. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes by Father Tom Loomis on Friday March 29, 2019 at 11 a.m. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Lanesboro following the luncheon.
