PERSIK Gregory Stephen Persik, 49, of Rochester passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Friday, May 13, 2016 at his residence. Greg was born April 9, 1967 in Chicago, IL to Ronald and Dorothy Dottie (Ellis) Persik. He was a graduate of John Marshall High School and went on to work for Ability Building Center for over 20 years. In his earlier years he enjoyed playing hockey, video games and riding motorcycles. He had an eye and talent for drawing and painting and a love of music while attending numerous concerts. Greg loved watching the Vikings, the Wild and Nascar. He had a ton of family and friends that were able to enjoy his great sense of humor. Greg was quite the risk taker and jokester. Greg is survived by his parents, Ron and Dottie Persik of Oronoco; brothers, David Persik of Oronoco and John Persik of Oronoco and niece, Elizabeth Persik. Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marjorie and John Persik, Steve Glazier and Fred and Sue Ellis. A time of celebration and remembrance will be held 4:00-7:00PM Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to NAMI SE MN, Ability Building Center.
