Gloria Fay Jensen

ROCHESTER, MINN: Gloria Fay Jensen, 76, passed away peacefully Sunday May 11, 2014 at St. Marys Hospital. Gloria was born July, 1, 1937 in Rochester to Arthur and Beulah (Lipscomb) Giem. She was a graduate of Plainview Elgin High School. On June 6, 1959, Gloria married Ralph Jensen in Rochester. Gloria worked as a secretary for the State of Minnesota State Patrol for many years and also worked at IBM. She enjoyed spending her time volunteering at the St. Marys Hospital gift shop and was a 50 year member at Christ United Methodist Church. Gloria loved gardening, being outside walking the dogs or feeding the birds. She enjoyed people watching, visiting with company and collecting Breyer horses. Above all, Gloria loved spending time with her family. Gloria is survived by her two sons, Russell (Joni) Jensen of Stewartville, Ricky (Cindy) Jensen of Owatonna; five grandchildren, Cole, Lucas, Joshua, Dana and Corey and by her brother, Bruce (Joanne) Giem of Montevideo, MN. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph and by her parents, Arthur and Beulah. A funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN. Family will receive friends from 10:00am until time of service.
