ROCHESTER, MINN:Gladys L. Schultz, 85, died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Golden Living Center East. Gladys LaVonne Weeks was born July 13, 1926 to Sidney and Ruby (Baker) Weeks in Wasioja, MN. She was a lifelong resident of Dodge and Olmsted counties. She married Alex F. Schultz on September 25, 1943 in Wasioja, MN. Gladys was a cook at various restaurants in the Rochester area. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, cross stitch and fabric painting, cooking and baking for friends and family, and was known for her collection of many pictures and photographs. Gladys is survived by her children, Larry (Sharon) Schultz, Red Wing, MN, LaVonne (Dale) Cooper, Rochester, MN, Betty (Don) Bolanda, Apple Valley, MN, Richard Schultz, Rochester, MN, David (Mary) Schultz, Brownwood, TX, and Susan Schultz, Rochester, MN, Pam Stanley, Rochester, MN, Bev Schultz, Rochester, MN, Vicky Kaye, Deer River, MN, Roger (Pam) Schultz, Rochester, MN; a loving grandmother to twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and abrother, Frank Weeks, Kasson, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, a great grandson and granddaughter, two sisters, and two son-in-laws. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes' Chapel. A visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home and one hour before the service on Friday. Burial will be in the Wildwood Cemetery, Wasioja, MN.
