Gladys G. Norgaarden

ROCHESTER, MINN:Gladys G. Norgaarden, 97, died Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Golden Living Center East. Gladys G. McGovern was born December 14, 1913 in Rochester, MN. She attended Rochester High School and later married Nordahl Nordy Norgaarden in Rochester. He died in 1967. She worked for many years as an elevator operator at the Kahler Hotel. Gladys loved children, all animals, and gardening. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents and husband. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes' Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
