Gerald C. Anderson Gerald Clyde Anderson, age 71, of Rochester passed away November 14, 2013 in St. Marys Hospital.Born April 13, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN, to Clyde Anderson & Rosalie Nye.Jerry was self-employed worked many years in Sales, selling printing and business forms. Jerry loved the outdoors, fishing, boating, hunting, biking, walking, and gardening. He was a simple and casual guy, who never met a stranger and loved people and they loved his sense of humor and his no nonsense approach to life.He was a great husband and father, and made sure he did what he could for them, whether it was spending time fishing and hunting with his son, traveling to horse shows with his daughter, or spending all those special times with his wife over the past fifty years. He married Pam Burkheimer on December 28, 1963 and she survives, along with his children, Chad Anderson (Barb) of Minneapolis, and Nickie Heydt of Rochester. 3 grandchildren,his brother, Bruce Anderson (Debbie) of Minneapolis, and his sister-in law and her husband, Bobbie & Jerry Graham of Fifty Lakes, MN.His parents preceded him in death. Memorial services will be held 3 PM Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Home, followed by a luncheon.Visitation will begin one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the Ronald McDonald House.
