George Bourdon

ROCHESTER, MN:George R. Bourdon, Jr. 90, of Rochester, MN passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Homestead of Rochester. George Robert Bourdon, Jr. was born October 19, 1925 to George and Janet (Zaiser) Bourdonin Red Lake Falls, MN. George attended Red Lake Falls High School, joined the Army Air Corp and graduated from The University of North Dakota.George married Thrine Haga on September 10, 1948 in Red Lake Falls.He worked as a Sales Manager at Sears for 34 years.George enjoyed woodworking and refinishing antiques with his wife.He also loved the outdoors, camping in the RV and traveling. George is survived by his son Gary (Starr) Bourdon of Elk River, MN; two grandchildren, Cody (Kymberli) and Nicole Bourdon; two great grandchildren, Tera and Emmett and one brother, Lyle (Patricia) Bourdon of Sun City, AZ.He is preceded in death by his wife, Thrine and his parents. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes Chapel.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.Inurnment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
