Gary Coffin

Gary W. Coffin, 72 of Rochester, MN died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Saint Marys Hospital. Gary Ward Coffin was born April 3, 1945 in Stillwater, OK to Paul and Mildred (Brown) Coffin. He graduated from high school in Elyria, OH and attended college at Miami of Ohio. On November 6, 1965 he married Connie Waltz in Elyria, OH. Gary was in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1965-1969. Gary and Connie lived in St. Louis, MO before moving to Rochester, MN. Gary worked for James Phillips Company in medical sales. He continued his sales career until 2006 and then worked for SpeeDee Delivery until 2015. Gary had a passion for bowling, fishing, golf, sports and traveling with his wife. Gary is survived by his wife, Connie of Rochester, MN; four children, Robert "Bobby" Coffin of Raleigh, NC, Eric (Marina) Coffin of Plymouth, MN, Kristine (Will) Stewart of LaFarge, WI and Jonathan (Stacia) Coffin of Farmington, MN; four grandchildren, Logan and Kenzie Stewart, Archer and Hunter Coffin; and his mother, Mildred of North Ridgeville, OH. He was preceded in death by his father. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes' Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
